‘Trust yourself and trust the process’ – Q&A with Nadim Stub

A quick Q&A with Nadim Stub, Managing Director & Proptech Innovation Evangelist @Proptech Denmark

What is your most surprising prediction about cities and sustainability?

Nadim Stub

Consider what our cities looked like just 100 years ago, then go back 500 – and relatively to today, not much has changed. Going forward we are going to see change at unprecedented speed, which will bring cities, building and its habitants to life in ways I think we can’t even imagine.

Who is the person who has most influenced the way you think about cities and technology?

Oxford Professor Andrew Baum, definitely elucidated something to me in terms of crystalizing my own view. I think in terms of appreciated change, think of what Brian Chesky, has done at airbnb. Not merely has he transformed an industry down to the very core of its asset owners, Airbnb has managed to alter the way we travel and interact for good. People make cities, and the more diversity and more fluidity a city is thrusting into adapting, the more it will rely on technologies to manage it. Effectively, that goes for every single business that serves to cities.
